New Ladder for Managers Course now available!

Kentec are now offering the new Ladder Association Ladder for Managers Course!
Designed for those who have a responsibility for overseeing the work of operatives onsite who use ladders, step ladders and stools, the course provides guidance on manager’s roles and responsibilities, emergency rescue plans and ensuring work is properly planned and organised.
The course agenda also covers:
- Current legislation, regulations and guidance affecting ladders, stepladders and step stools.
- Manager’s roles and responsibilities
- The importance of rescue planning.
- The difference between pre-use and formal inspections.
- The difference between maintenance and repairs, and who is allowed to undertake these activities.
- Storage, transportation and maintenance
- The correct way to dispose of unsafe equipment.
This course is one day from 8.30 – 4.30pm, with a multiple choice and written open book examination. Delegates who successfully complete the theory and assessments will receive an e-certificate and photo ID card.
Delegates attending this course would benefit from having a working knowledge of the Work at Height Regulations 2005 and Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.
