The course is aimed at operatives, managers and supervisors who need to understand the safe and correct use of Disc Cutters (Two Stroke Petrol fuelled) using Diamond Cut Off Blades or Resin Bonded Abrasive Wheels in the workplace.
You’ll learn how to select, inspect, mount and use Diamond Cut Off Blades and Resin Bonded Abrasive Wheels mounted on Disc Cutters and the selection of the correct and appropriate P.P.E for such tasks. The course will also cover HAVS, Noise, Respiratory and Mechanical hazards associated with the use of this equipment. This course is delivered by an approved BAF (British Abrasive Federation) instructor.
All successful delegate's will receive a Kentec E- Certificate of Training, valid for 3 years.
