Course Overview
Our RTITB Fork Lift Truck Operator - Novice (Pivot Steer) Course delivers a minimum of 37.5 hours of instruction and is designed to instruct up to a maximum of 3 delegates, providing the skills needed to operate the truck safely and efficiently, carry out a pre-use inspection & recall and explain the causes of truck and load instability.
The Pivot Steer truck is also known as an articulated, bendi or flexi trucks. They resemble a conventional forklift, with an additional function to swing the mast 90 degrees either side of the truck. These machines are commonly found in warehouse environments due to their handling abilities. They can also be found outside in yards or carrying out similar operations to the counterbalance and reach truck.

This course consists of a classroom lecture, DVD presentation, written assessment, practical training and assessment.
